Drefahl, Theodore “Teddy”
Of Southern Wisconsin Center died peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital of Racine at the age of 47. Teddy was born April 29, 1963 to Betty Ken Gilman of California and Thomas Jean Drefahl of Franksville. Teddy lived a courageous life having had cerebral palsy since birth. He always had a smile and touched the hearts of many.

He is survived by his parents, sister, Sharie Patrick Wetzel of California, nephew Michael Shilts of Missouri, niece Chelsey Ledger of California, step brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Timothy Drefahl.

There will be a private memorial service at Southern Wisconsin Center, Union Grove with private burial at St. Louis Cemetery in Caledonia.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to the wonderful staff at Southern Wisconsin Center for the many years of loving care given to Ted. Also thanks to the staff at Wheaton Franciscan for the many times he was in their care.
