Thomas E. Wooldridge

Born to eternal life on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the age of 83. Preceded in death by Mary Ann, his cherished wife of 60 years. Loving father of Jeffrey (Tammy) Wooldridge, Lisa (Brian) Block, and Michael Wooldridge. Proud grandfather of Derek, Axe, Anthony, Kyle, Benjamin and Joshua. Loving great-grandfather to Liam and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Devoted friend to numerous others. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Anita Wooldridge and brother Corky.

Thomas started Karate in 1964. He was an active member of Neil Stolsmark’s Authentic Ancient Arts Karate & Kobudo Studios until his passing. He was a beloved mentor and leader to many younger Karate students.   Tom achieved the rank of Hachidan (8th degree Black Belt).

Thomas served honorably as a Specialist in the US Army Reserves.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Greendale Baptist Church, 5651 S. 51st Street, Greendale from 12:30 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Entombment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Tom had a great love for Greendale Baptist Church’s ministry; it was his wish that memorials in his memory be made to the Church in lieu of flowers.
