On October 10, 2017 our father became our angel at the age of 80. Dear husband of the late Barbara Kotas. Loving father of Edward and grandfather to Edward’s children Austin and Kayla, father of Patricia and grandfather to her daughter Barbara, father of Jennifer and grandfather to her children Justin and Mathias, great-grandfather to Justin’s children Anais and Jacyen Thomas, father of Michael and grandfather to his children Dayton, Devin, and Willie. Preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Lillian and brothers Richard, Robert, and David. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Our father was a strong man after our mom passed away. Our dad was all we had. We may not have had the best of everything but we had him. It hurts to see that once a strong man can become so frail from cancer. From running the paper route, to cooking at school events and breaking his toe. Taking long drives to our grandparents, and walking in the Forth of July parade. He is now with our mom, grama and granpa Kotas and his brothers. Our hearts are hurting.
