Tom was my friend for 78 years. That is a privilege I treasure. I hope I was never unworthy of his friendship. To Tom I offer a Polish goodbye: “Itze Bogerm.,” “Go with God.”

I remember fondly my Uncle Mac. And it was a joy to see his smile and the whole family in this beautiful slide show. His celebration was today and I needed to be there in spirit, which I did by watching this lovely span of his life.I remember good talks and fun laughs with him at family events and sleepovers through the years. We shared recovery, and he had a stroke with similar timing to my husbands and then died a month before that husband died. Some interesting and touching similarities. I am sending love and hugs to the extended McHale family. with my sympathy and my heartfelt prayers to you all. Love, your niece and cousin, Beth
