Passed away August 17, 2015, age 83. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Jakubowski). Loving father of Janet (Michael) Tobiasz, Thomas (Rhonda Mead), and Michael (Jeanine). Brother of James (Betty). Much loved Grampa of Melissa, Melanie, Shawn, Ryan, and Nicole; also Nick, Natasha, and Shane. Great-grampa of Connor and Cameron, Maci and Tucker. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tom was very proud of his service in the US Army, having served in Korea in the early 1950’s. When he returned from Korea, he began work in fire protection as a sprinkler fitter, a trade he worked at until he retired in 1989. Tom and Rita moved to Minocqua, Wisconsin after Tom retired. They were able to spend 25 wonderful years with family and friends at their home on Booth Lake. Tom absolutely loved the relaxing life and activities of the Northwoods in Wisconsin. He will be greatly missed by those who love him and all who knew him.
