found peace Weds. June 6, 2001, at the age of 76yrs. Born May 28, 1925 to parents Michael Manley and Emma Ludtke in the town of Geneva. On Feb. 5, 1946 Thomas married his bride Elizabeth ”Betty”nee Behrens at St Peters Catholic Church.
Thomas was a member of St Peters Catholic Church, retired from Trent Tube after 39 yrs, served in WWII with the Navy Seabee’s, was a member of American Legion Post 188, Longtime volunteer of the East Troy Fire Department, President of East Troy Wrestling Club, and Treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 92 for years.
Thomas is survived by his wife ”Betty”, children: Kathy Ron Siira, Jeff Vicki Manley, Colleen Robert Brazzell, Eileen Tom Kostopoulos, Maureen Bob Frost, Lynn Mike Anderson, Laurie, Jim, Darcy Kim Kiesow and Tim. Grandchildren: Jeff, Kevin, Cori, Chris, Tiffany, Anna, Emily, Katie, Julia, Bryan Tara, Mike, Amy, Kyle, Carley, Casey, Cody, Tyler, Collin, Derek, Andy, Kelsey and Great Grandson: Markeith. Sister Anna Mae Pat Hanrahan, Brother in law Dick Phyl Behrens, Sisters in law Sue Manley and Barb Harmon. Also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Michael, Jerry and Burnell.
Funeral services will be held Sat. June 9, 2001 at 12 noon, at St Peters Catholic Church 1981 Beulah ave. East Troy with visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of service 12 NOON. Internment St Peters Catholic Cemetery to follow. Fr John Twomey officiating.
Contributions in Tom’s memory may be made to the TOM MANLEY SCHOLARSHIP FUND, to be established for a graduating H.S. senior involved in the East Troy Wrestling Program.
