Timothy J. Worm

8/19/1956 – 08/15/2023

Tim’s life journey ended on Aug. 15, 2023. Preceded in death by sisters Denise Worm, Jean Jashinski, and Mary Schrobel. Tim is survived by his loving wife Sue, bonus daughters, Michelle and Nikki Curran, and man’s best friend Ollie. He will be missed by his brothers Gary (Lynn), Rick (Chris), Tom (Marlene), and sister Terri (Todd) Bransted. Further survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dave (Judy) Bieszk, Rob (Cathy) Bieszk and Nancy (Ken) Black. Tim was a favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews. The candy cabinet was fully stocked and accessible when they came to visit or for sleepovers as kids. Tim enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1972. He trained at Camp Pendelton in San Diego and ventured to Okinawa and spent time on the USS Tripoli. Tim completed rifleman training at the Infantry Training School, and Tactics of the Marine Corp Rifle Squad at the Marine Corp Institute in Washington DC. Tim said being in the Marine Corp was the best decision he made.

After his honorable discharge in 1979, Tim started a successful owner-operator trucking career. He explored the open road coast to coast while working and driving his big rig. Travel with family was one of Tim’s passions, whether it was Mexico, Caribbean Islands, Costa Rica, or a cruise, he enjoyed the sun and warm waters. When the atlas was on the coffee table when his wife came home from work, travel plans were on his mind. Road trips throughout the country with his wife and bonus daughters was always an adventure (traveling in a vehicle with 3 women)! As much fun as traveling was, his greatest love was being at home peaceful surroundings with Sue and Ollie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the FUNERAL HOME from 4-6:30pm with a Funeral Service at 6:30pm followed by Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Parkinson Association or the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight appreciated.
