Volkaitis, Valeria nee Ledvorowski
Mesa, AZ, formerly of West Allis, WI entered into Eternal Life August 22, 2009 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Kathleen Citko, IL; Marilyn Francis Aki Jr., HI; Beverly Mark LeResche, AZ; and Annette Donn Bode, LA. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ruth George Saidler, Joan Joseph Trinkl, Richard Ledvorowski, Donald Elaine Ledrowski, and David Judith Ledvorowski. Preceded in death by brother Reverend Eugene Ledvorowski and sister Dolores Stanley Palenski. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Val was a former member and past president of Holy Assumption Parish Christian Mothers’ Association. She was also known for her excellent seamstress capabilities, having sewn numerous religious vestments. Val was a volunteer at hospitals in Texas and Arizona. She enjoyed Bingo and the Blazing 7’s.

Visitation Tuesday, September 1st at the Funeral Home, from 4-8PM, with a Prayer Vigil at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, September 2nd, 9:30AM, at HOLY ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH 1525 S. 71st St. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Val’s name to Maryknoll Missionaries at Dept. WEB, PO Box 302, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0302.
