Kolton, Verna Margaret
nee Wachholz Passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 13, 2012, at the age of 88 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael Kolton. Loving mother of James Joanne Kolton, William Patricia Kolton, Pauline Bob Lemke, Patricia John Zasada and Thomas Diana Kolton. Proud grandma of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sister of Margaret Jenks. Sister-in-law of Ruth Collins and Terry Wachholz. Verna is further survived by many relatives and special friends.
Verna enjoyed making quilts, crocheting, knitting, gardening, sewing and making great grilled cheese sandwiches. She was very loved and will be missed.
Funeral Service Thursday, July 19, at 11:00 AM at FAIRVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 137 N. 66th St. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Visitation Thursday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service 11:00 AM.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Wheaton Franciscan Hospice Home Care staff for their kind and patient care for our mom.
