Virgina ”Peggy” C. Grant

Grant, Virginia C. ?Peggy?
Age 75 years. Found peace Friday June 14, 2002 the Kiwanis Nursing Home in East Troy. Born to parents Herbert Smith and Emma Fritz in Sharon, WI. On December 28, 1926. On July 21, 1945 Peggy married her husband Laurel, in Milwaukee, WI. And have been married for 57years. They lived in Milwaukee for one and returned to East Troy, were they have been lifetime residents.
Peggy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, The 40 and 8, East Troy Lioness Club, Old Citizens Club and many other clubs and organizations, holding offices in all of them at one time or another. Peggy is also a member of St James United Methodist Church, East Troy.
She is survived by her husband Laurel, Son Monty Grant of Whitewater and Daughter Karen George Morelli of Hoffman Estates, IL. 2 brothers and 2 sisters; Herb and Bill Smith, Marlene Malone and Barbara Smith. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday June 16, 2002 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services are Monday June 17, 2002 at 10:30 AM with visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of service. All at ST JAMES UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 2945 W. Main St. East Troy. Interment Oakridge Cemetery to follow.
