Franecki, Virginia Anne
(nee Pazderski) After a long courageous battle with cancer she was born to Eternal Life April 2, 2016, at the age of 90. Beloved wife and best friend of Florian with whom she celebrated 70 years of a beautiful marriage on December 1, 2015. Loving mother of Barbara (Warren) Potts and George Franecki. Loving grandmother of Renee Potts, Laura (Michael) Langdon, and Matthew (Jennifer) Potts. Cherished great-grandmother of Ava and Jacob Langdon and Donavan and Charlotte Potts. Preceded in death by her parents Roman and Jean Pazderski. Also survived by very special relatives and many special and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 9:30 AM – 11 AM, at St. Gregory the Great Church (3160 S. 63rd St.). Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Anne was a charter member of St. Gregory the Great Church, a member of the Christian Women Society, a volunteer for the St. Ben’s Meal Program, the S.H.A.R.E. Food Program, and various other programs at St. Greg’s. Anne was a kind, thoughtful, and giving person. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Special thanks to Aurora Cancer Center, especially Dr. McGartland, Jackie Konkel, and Hartland Home Hospice for the wonderful and special care that Anne received. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Gregory the Great Church or the St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Greg’s.
