Queeman, Virginia H.

Born to Eternal Life on Friday, July 1, 2011 at the age of 99. Beloved daughter of the late George and the late Rose (nee Kilb) Queeman. Devoted and loving sister of the late Lois M. Queeman.

Virginia was a long-time employee of the Wisconsin Electric Company and active in many professional organizations. She studied at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and enjoyed music all her life. She is survived by dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of St. John the Evangelist at St. John’s on the Lake, 1840 N. Prospect Ave. Private interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sojourner Family Peace Center, 135 W. Wells St., Milwaukee, WI 53203 or Trinity Episcopal Church, 1717 Church St. Wauwatosa, WI 53213.

Virginia was especially grateful for the compassionate care she received for many years from Scott Jorgensen MD, and more recently the staff at Columbia-St. Mary’s ICU and Stratford Court.
