Peacefully resting in God’s hands on November 30th. Survived by his spouse Maxine (Gertz) for 58 years. Loving father of Susan Borowski, Karen (Jeff) Dickey, Jeffrey Borowski, and the late Michael Borowski. Proud grandfather of Jessica and Joe and great-grandfather of Willa and Shawn. Dear brother of Mary Ann (Bill) Hoover and Jeanette (Jack) Eilers. Wallace was also survived by his brother-in-law Tom (Joanne) Gertz. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10AM-11:45AM on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST (8500 W. Coldspring Rd). Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12PM. Interment to follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Wallace was a great strong man and although he rests with his maker; his kind, caring, and loving ways will continue to live in all of us. He was an honored Korean War Veteran dedicated to providing a good prosperous life not only for his country, but for his family and everyone that he knew. Wallace was also a past commander and member of Krejci-Braun Meier VFW Post 7485 and embraced the camaraderie of his fellow veterans and members.
