Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Zakowski). Dear Father of Jane (Richard) Wanty and Robert Michelson. Loving Grandfather of Rick, Kristy (fiancé Jamie) and Brecka and Great-Grandfather of Seth, Alyissa, Harley, Bethany, Rayden and Elizabeth. Brother of Patsy Bartlett and the late Richard Michelson. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL from 4PM until the time of service at 7PM. Private family entombment at Arlington Park Cemetery.
Walter was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a retired employee of Mobil Oil Co. where he worked for over 35 years.
