Warren L. Guentzel

Born on Jan 6, 1941 and passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center in Racine after a three year battle with lung cancer. Warren will be sorely missed by his wife of 45 years Norma nee Schwartz. Beloved father of Susan John Sullivan, Jane, William and Jacob Patty Guentzel. Grandfather of Amanda, Natalie, Thomas, David and Lily and David and Mandi. Brother of Gail Guentzel. Cousin of Lynne Wozniak, Tom Penny Guentzel, Chas and Laverne Hartwig and Joyce Pfiltz. Brother in law of Henry Betty Schwartz, George Schwartz, Marge Krivsky, Evelyn Larsen and Lorraine Pat McCray. Further survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially the deer hunting party from Rib Lake, WI.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007, 10:30 AM at LUTHERAN CHAPEL OF THE CROSS CHURCH, 1426 Fancher Rd Hwy H with Interment to follow at Caledonia Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday at the Funeral Home from 4-8 PM.

Warren was a longtime resident of Franksville a lover of wildlife and nature, his working life included farming, mechanics and landscaping.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Cancer Care Center physicians and staff. The second floor nursing staff and the third floor Infusion Therapy Center staff at Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center.
