Wilbur John Coffey

COFFEY, Wilbur J. peacefully entered eternal life September 10, 2012, at the age of 80. Wilbur was born in Freehold, NJ, and was most recently a resident of Greeneville, TN. Devoted husband of 34 years of the love of his life, Susan nee Knackstedt Coffey. Wilbur is survived by eight children and their spouses; Debra Roy Stein, Diana Robert Wiggins, Darla Mark Schilling, Ronald Sandy Coffey, David Faith Coffey, Katrina Eddie Ribeiro, David Andra Coffey, and Brenda Roy Windham; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings: Brian, Sam, Charles, and Lynn Coffey and many other loving friends and family members including the mother of 5 of his children and lifelong friend Louise Coffey. Preceded in death by his parents George Washington and Estelle Green Coffey, siblings William and Douglas Coffey, and Nancy nee Coffey Mapp.

Wilbur left this world a tender man who cried easily and laughed often. He loved his family dearly and was honored and proud of each one of them. He will be sorely missed.

Visitation at THE FUNERAL HOME Monday, September 17, 2012, from 10am to 11am, with a service to follow. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.
