Born to eternal life on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, age 95 years. Dear uncle of Jean Remmel. Great-uncle of Scott (Beth) Remmel, Steven (Maureen) Remmel, and Douglas Remmel. Also survived by Richard and Peggy Remmel, 5 great-grand nieces, 1 great-grand nephew, 3 great-great grand nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
Visitation Monday, October 5, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5500 W. Greenfield Ave., followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Military honors and interment at Highland Memorial Park.
Bill retired from Clement-Zablocki Medical Center as a chef where he worked for many years. He loved big band music and singing. He was a member of National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
In lieu of flowers and memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church, American Lung Association or American Heart Association appreciated.
