I am very sorry to hear of Willie’s passing. I loved working under him at MATC. He was always very kind and always had the best intentions in his heart to help others. Willie introduced me to a lot of people on the MATC Oak Creek campus that I wouldn’t know if it weren’t for him. He was such a kind and gentle soul and he will remain that forever in my memory of him. I am sorry to his family for this loss, but I am happy he was able to get some rest from work before he passed. He really deserved that. Rest in peace Willie <3

Condolences to the family. It seems like yesterday Willie was just working on getting the PC 2 classroom at MATC OC functioning. He was a great guy.
I enjoyed working with Willie, he often shared his life stories with me and I believe he felt very at peace with all he had done, he will be missed by many but his memories will live on.
I know your family greatly misses Willie. He had a very remarkable presence, whether you agreed with him or disagreed, and was willing to discuss and dispute. I worked in the computer lab next door to his work area for many years, and we had many great conversations about a variety of lively topics. I am sad that he left this world so soon after retirement. May he rest in peace.
