Willy was born in Erlenbach, Switzerland and immigrated to Milwaukee in 1950. Willy passed away peacefully Sunday morning surrounded by his family at the age of 82. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Madelyn nee Noe. Devoted father of Paul Wendy, David Hilde, Carla John Buchel, William and Ellen Thomas Muskatevc. Proud grandfather of Amy Pat Winge, Kristen and Ashley Staufiger, Laura Andronico Guzman-Rivera, Eric Monica and Marc Staufiger, John, Nicholas, Josef, and Paul Buchel, Christian and Zachary Stauffiger and Stephen and Andrew Muskatevc. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren. Further survived by his three brothers and aunt in Switzerland.
Willy was an honorary member of the Swiss Singing Society and a member of the Wilson Park Woodcarving Club.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 29th at the Funeral Home from 4-8PM. Celebration of Life at 7:30PM. Funeral Mass at ST. FLORIAN?S CATHOLIC CHURCH at 10AM on October 30, 2009. Please meet at Church 1233 S. 45th Street. Private family interment at Arlington Park Cemetery.
