Zigmund “Zig” Pavlock III

Passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, age 53 years.  Loving son of Christy Johnson Drayer and the late Zigmund Pavlock II.  Loving father of Cassandra Pavlock and Jessie Pavlock.  Dear brother of Christian Pavlock and Michael Jauch.  Loving ex-husband of Erika Hawley.  Also survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and many co-workers and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday form 5-7PM at the Funeral Home (4800 S. 84th St., Greenfield).  A Prayer Service will follow at 7PM.

Zig worked for over 32 years at Big Red where he loved being with his work family.  Besides being a good drummer and guitar player, he enjoyed cooking for family and friends and tailgating at Brewer’s games.  He liked riding his motorcycle and his GT Skylark.  Zig also enjoyed being outside in nature, weather it was in sleeping outside in Hawaii or going camping in Door County.

A person you could always count on to help when it was needed. Knew him mainly through work, but he will always be remembered as one of the “Good Guys”. Wish there were more like him! It will be tough to not have him around. One last Thank You Zig.

Shocked beyond words, Zig was truly a great guy and I loved my time working with him at Big Red Machinery Movers. A good soul taken to soon.

I haven’t seen him since high school but I do have fond memories of him joking around.he was always a nice guy. I know it’s been 30 some years but I just thought of him a few days ago.

I wanted to share this photo of Zig from Big Red. He cracked a hint of a smile, just for this one.

Zig was a kind person that was always willing to help anyway he could. He had a fierce loyalty to other’s. I was deeply saddened to hear that he passed. I knew him because of work but did know that his love for his kids and family was # 1 in his life. God gained an angel when he took him home. It’s hard to believe he is no longer here.
